Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our 6 x Venison & Boar -Grain Free Complete Wet Adult Dog Food 400g

  • This multipack contains six 400 g tins of our Wild Boar & Venison Grain-Free Complete Wet Adult Dog Food. It’s the same high-meat, grain-free recipe as the single tins, bundled for convenience and better value for regular feeders.

  • Yes. Each tin in the 6-pack is a complete, grain-free wet food formulated for adult dogs. When fed according to the guidelines, it provides all the essential nutrients your dog needs, so you can feed it as their main diet or alongside a suitable dry food.

  • This bundle is ideal if you feed our venison & boar wet food regularly or to more than one dog. It suits active adult and working dogs who benefit from a high meat content and added joint, skin and coat support, while still being appropriate for many pet dogs with higher energy needs.

  • Yes, buying a 6 x 400 g multipack is usually better value than purchasing individual tins. It also means you have several meals ready to go, reducing the risk of running out and making it easy to rotate with other flavours in your dog’s weekly menu.

  • The recipe is completely grain- and gluten-free, using wild boar and venison as the main proteins, plus carrots, coconut, borage oil and a carefully balanced vitamin and mineral profile. This makes it a great option for many dogs with grain sensitivities or intolerances to more common meats, though every dog is different.

  • As a general guide, most adult dogs eat around 2–3% of their ideal body weight per day in food. For example, a 20 kg dog may need roughly 400–600 g daily (1–1.5 tins), depending on their age, activity level and body condition. Always adjust amounts if your dog starts to gain or lose weight.

  • Yes, you can feed the venison & boar wet food on its own or mix it with a suitable dry or raw diet. If you combine foods, make sure the total daily amount from all sources stays within your dog’s calorie needs and transition gradually over 7–10 days to avoid digestive upset.

  • Store unopened tins in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, cover the tin, keep it in the fridge and use the contents within 2 days. Discard any uneaten food that has been left in your dog’s bowl for several hours, especially in warm weather.

  • Yes, the 6-pack format is very handy for trips, holidays or stays with friends and family. Each 400 g tin is sealed, easy to pack and doesn’t require freezing, so you can maintain your dog’s usual diet and avoid tummy upsets when you’re away from home.

  • The recipe is formulated for adult dogs, particularly active and working dogs. Some healthy seniors may also enjoy it, but portions may need to be reduced. For puppies, especially under 12 months, we recommend using a dedicated puppy diet or checking with your vet before feeding this food as a main meal.
